GWIIN was founded by Bola Olabisi working with a dedicated team of professionals to recognise women inventors and their stories.

Global Women Inventors & Innovators Network (GWIIN) was founded in 1998 and has since continued to provide a service that focuses on improving the conditions and opportunities for women worldwide in reaching their full potential.

"GWIIN continues to promote the astounding worldwide growth in the number of women inventors and innovators that have captured the imagination and attention of world leaders, policy makers and the private sector".

Many women are coming up with commercially viable ideas on a regular basis, developing new products and services or designing significant variations on existing concepts. However, the journey to success is full of pitfalls and more awareness and support is necessary if we are to truly capitalize on their incredible skills and talents.

GWIIN continues to expand across borders and uses its platform for recognizing inventive and innovative women in worldwide. There is a particular emphasis on developing vehicles for marketing and long lasting trade partnership opportunities within and across borders through its awards, conferences, seminars, exhibitions and roundtable discussions.
